Growing

I love the fact that still, several years into his little life, we get to observe Josiah's discernible development week by week. Two new things: (1) Josiah has begun dabbling in photography. This morning he said he should take a picture of me "for Daddy," so Daddy, here you go. He's starting to hold the camera pretty still, isn't he?
(2) We began working on a new skill this afternoon: scissors. With great concentration (and a hovering mother) he made a beautifully fringed paper for you, Jesse, which he's excited to give to you when you return home!

I love it that you call it discernible development!!! I love your blog! I love you! When I saw this title on my sidebar I thought for sure I would find a picture of your belly on your page!
(hint hint) but this is way cute...I wish I had the insight that you have into a child's mind!!!! When Briar started taking pictures at about this same age I didn't really think that much about it in terms of her development...so she's started writing her own name too...is that a big deal??? Oh my goodness you are just too much fun Krista I miss you!
and, Jesse, have a safe trip!
