Say "cheese"!

Josiah brought the camera to me for the first time ever today. "Take my picture?" he queried, as he handed it to me. "For Daddy?" He then immediately launched into very vigorous and hearty "cheese"ing as I scrambled to turn the camera on and snap a shot or two! Enjoy, Jesse. :)

In less happy news, today Nannan left. We drove the hour and a half to Philly airport with her this afternoon (Thursdays are the day I don't go into the office) and I'm not sure who was more sad to see her walk into the terminal, me or Josiah. Thanks for being here these past many days, Mom!!

Mom and Josiah after having a picnic with his Teddies this morning. They concluded the event by tossing all of the plastic food items back into the storage basket. Fortunately Mom didn't lose an eye in the process.

Me --- feeling and looking not-too-spiffy, after a not-too-spiffy night with a headache --- trying to get some grading done mid-morning while Josiah cuddled up and watched a Thomas episode online. I'm so behind on grading right now I may never recover. (I need a 9-to-5 job that doesn't suffer when I can't put in hours every night and weekend!!)
