We had robins build a nest just outside of our kitchen back door this spring. Josiah called them "his" robins and loved keeping track of their progress.
Did you warn him that their job is to grow up and leave the nest or was he devistated? Nick and Megan would have needed a LOT of prep work and then still would have cried for days becasue they misssed their babies!
What a perfect view to see the process, though. Save those pictures, they'll come in handy when he's in elementary school! He'll WIN the science fair!!!
