6 days to go: thankful

Jesse, it was so good to hear from you today after several days of next to no communications. We're thankful that you're safely in Lancaster, land of reliable internet.  :)   And we're maybe just a touch jealous that you're spending several (albeit busy) fall days back on home turf!

On the point of thankfulness, this post is directed beyond Jesse to the several family members who sent gifts or forwarded money along for William's birthday a week and a half ago. Josiah carefully penned thank you notes that we mailed to everyone after his birthday last month, but for William, we're going a slightly easier route. Suffice it to say he was pleased with everything that day. When I suggested that we take a thank you photo, he decided we ought to take several...all with his signature double thumbs up. So from William (and me): merci beaucoup!
