After nearly 24 hours of travel, Jesse returned to us this afternoon. I misled the boys about his arrival time by an hour or so, and that meant Jesse was able to surprise them at school pick-up time. Their faces were priceless! What with a quick power nap (after missing a night of sleep) and then needing to dial into work meetings and calls starting at 7 p.m., the reunion and playtime had to be cut a little short this first evening. But no matter, all feels right in the world with him back home. Hooray!
